キツネの死体を覗き込むと、その開かれたままの目には、何か白い、蜘蛛の糸のようなものが張り巡らされていた。
そしてその身体がビクビクと痙攣し始めた。
ある可能性に気付く。
僕は一目散にその場を逃げ出した。
ある虫は、別の虫の脳を支配し、更にその身体にタマゴを産みつける。
そうして自分の子供のために餌を供給するゾンビにしてしまうのだとか。
この化けギツネの脳が既にその”虫”に支配されていたとしたら、僕はその”虫”のディナーにされようと、ここまで連れてこられたのではないか？
背後から何か、動物の身体が弾けるような音がしたが、僕は振り返ることが出来なかった。
