賽の河原の石が、”積みきられた”。
積んだのは10歳にもならない男の子だとか。
現場に残されていたのは積みあげられた石の塔、累々たる鬼たち、そして白いクリーム状の何か。
少年は石を積みあげた功徳で輪廻を離れたと思われた。
この不祥事で閻魔は更迭。
子供を救うために良い感じのタイミングで現れた地蔵菩薩の面目は丸潰れ。もう子供は救わないと言い出してるとかなんとか。
僕が目を覚ますとそこは知らない天井。真っ白な布団、号泣する父さんと母さん。
僕が戻ったことに気づくと父さんと母さんは僕を抱き締める。
父さんが教えてくれた通りだった！
敬虔過ぎる仏教徒であるおじいちゃんに反抗していた父さんは、万が一に備えて僕に秘策を伝授していた。
セメント。
賽の河原には父さんの予想通り、子供たちのガイコツがたくさん転がっていた。石灰質。
僕は鬼の目を盗んで見知らぬ子供達の骨を砕いて水(ここは河原だ！)と混ぜ、クリーム状のセメントにする。
そこに砂と小石を混ぜれば即席のコンクリートの完成。
あとはコンクリート施工の石の塔を作って徳積み完了。
鬼たちが崩そうとしてきたけど、金棒程度じゃビクともしない。
あとは三途の川をこれまた父さんに仕込まれたクロールでゆうゆうと泳ぎきって此岸に到達、無事復活。
これが顛末。
そういえば、川を渡るときにどこからか声が聞こえた気がする。
なんかゲダツ？とかいうのが出来るとか。
でもそんなのどうでもいい。
父さんと母さんのところに戻るのが一番なんだから。
